FOR THE THIRD YEAR IN A ROW WE HAVE PROVIDED MINI-GRANTS TO OUR COMMUNITY!  

IN 2025 WE ARE AWARDING A TOTAL OF $1,000 TO LOCAL STUDENTS – OUR HIGHEST AWARD YET!

The Arch City Big Band is a 100% volunteer organization, and although we pay no salaries, we have expenses.  In addition, it is our goal to give back to the Columbus Community and support local students interested in pursuing the study of jazz.  A few of our common expenses are as follows:  

Music for the band -- approximately $50 per chart

General business expenses and upkeep of our non-profit status -- approximately $450 per year

Anticipated support for local High School jazz bands to attend festivals, receive professional feedback / instruction, purchase music or needed equipment, transportation costs to participate in jazz band festivals -- between $100 and $500 per band.
